Copenhagen Accommodations

Accomodation is the most serious matetr of expense, however a choice of hotels in the capital is large. So it is always possible to find the most comprehensible variant. For a room for two  with conveniences you should pay about 400-600 crones, but almost in all hotels the breakfast (buffet) is included in this price. It is desirable to reserve places in advance, especially in season peak. To make it is possible through a site of tourist’s bureau or that hotel in which you would like to stop (the latter may have have big discounts). In tourist’s bureau  you can reserve habitation in a private sector where the room for two costs 300-400 crones.

Double room

And, of course, everything should remain on its place. If you are not satisfied or generally don’t like Hotels, no matter how good they are, even in this case you won’t be bored in Copenhagen.

Popularity of residing on farms grows. The cheapest variant of residing are hostels. In each city there is at least one such institution, rather comfortable. In the majority of hostels it is possible to receive a separate room with a toilet and a shower though the place in general bedroom will be more cheap, in fact kitchens everywhere are equipped. A bed costs about 120 crones; those who are not associated with HI, pay extra 35 crones a day.
If you plan to settle down in a camping, you are required to have  International Camping Card or Camping Card Scandinavia (80 crones) which can be got in all officially existing campings. A transit card (Transit Pass; 20 crones) is possible to use for one night. Campings are opened at least from June till August, and some function all year long.
Holiday rental
There is a rigid classification: in one-star campings there are toilets and at least one shower, in two-star – the same plus the equipment for cooking and food shop in about 2 km, and in three-star (their majority) also a laundry and TV. In four-star campings there is a shop, and in five-star – cafeteria.
In the majority of campings it is possible to remove a separate small house for six people (as a rule, with kitchen) for 2000-4000 crones in a week (reserve in advance!). To put tents out of campings is possible only in the presence of the special permission, otherwise it is necessary to pay the penalty immediately. Nevertheless the Danish ministry of natural resources initiated a two-year trial project according to which it is authorized to set up free of charge camp in two hundred specified wood zones. Rules are very strict: only one night spent in each place, only two tents in one zone, it is impossible to make fire. And, of course, everything should remain on its place.
