Acording to he information of he latest year (2010) the visa for entrance to a zone of the Schengen agreement isn’t required to citizens of he following countries: Andorra, Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Macedonia , Mauritius, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Montenegro , New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Sent-Kits and Nevis, San Marino, Serbia , Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, the USA, Uruguay, Vatican, Venezuela. Citizens of these countries can’t be more than three months during half a year and can’t work at this time in the EU countries.

  • Note: Citizens of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia for visa-free entrance should have the biometric passport.

For the Citizens of Serbia with passports of the Serbian Coordination management (the Serbs living to Kosovo) are still necessary visas.

Resident Permit
According to the rules specified in Danish Aliens Act, foreigners can receive residence permit in Denmark for work or study. The work permit can be given out as hired workers, and for opening of own business. The residence permit usually stands out for a period of 1 year with prolongation possibility. Despite it, the residence permit doesn’t stand out for term, more than it is specified in the working contract.
The list of the basic documents for residence permit reception in Denmark and/or work permits:
  • the Signed contract with the employer (or the letter on entering an educational institution) – in 2 copies;
  • the International passport, the period of validity of which should be 3 months longer than term of the required permission;
  • 2 copies of all pages of the international passport;
  • the Questionnaire for getting a residence, filled in English in 3 copies (to Load PDF the document);
  • 4 color photos 3,5*4,5 on a dark blue background (photos should be are pasted to the questionnaire, instead of are fastened by a stapler).
